Geoff laid on the ground on his chest, attaching the power system to the front wheel before teleporting away and activating it. It was a small two-seater Katana, one of the first Geoff flew solo. He smiled as he unhooked the system with the Katana out of the hangar.

As much as the other patients tried to ignore it, it was extremely hard to tune out the utter screams of pain. Geoff was really loud when he wanted to be.

((Alright, so my connection at home tends to be a bit wonky at the moment. If I'm RPing and suddenly disappear, that's where I've probably gone.))

Geoff had somehow reclined his wheelchair and was sitting up with his legs on a table, his horribly mangled and burned leg showing. He barely noticed; he managed to sneak one of his spell books in. He had finished his study on stronger gravity fields and was working on the ultimate spell, one to cause a rift in both space and time large enough to summon a meteor. However, just looking at the spell itself confused the living hell out of him.

This was going to take a while.

As he reached his home, he realized that if Naoko and Sukina tried to come back, they wouldn't be able to get through the teleporter. Instead, he left a cellphone by the entrance with a number taped to the front with a note saying, "If you see this, call me. 537-6149." With that in mind, he walked up to his room and plopped down for some gaming.

He could only wander the halls of the castle for so long; he needed his fix of games every now and then. Realizing that he'd worked up quite a sweat, he thought he'd take a shower first as he walked up the steps toward his room.

Upon reaching home, his eyes were glowing. She said she couldn't do it, so he sped up the decision. It was going to happen anyway. Before taking the teleporter, he opened the side panel and brought up the main screen.

Logging out of the system, he took the teleporter up and opened the door, deciding that playing games would ease his temper right about now.

Throwing himself into the snow just ouside the gate, Geoff hadn't really bothered to visit the Nexus, with the exception of investigating an unfamiliar source of dark energy. He closed his eyes and starting singing quietly, anything to keep his mind off of... well, anything."

The portal led back to the castle. He had what he wanted and yet he didn't. He staggered over to the front gate and erected a sign.

"Home but exhausted. Only contact in case of emergency."

With that, he slowly made his way to his room, collapsing on the bed.

An hour, ten minutes, same difference, right? Well, any time spent with games was time well spent, in his opinion; besides, Metroid Prime 2 was just calling to him, especially with Jack's desire to explore the castle.

Morph Ball Bomb System obtained. I wish I had a Power Suit like that.

All that was left was Jack showing up. He glanced at his watch; should be about time.

Of course, that never stopped him from playing.

Annoyed as all hell, Geoff stormed back to the castle. He didn't care what anyone else thought; if Jack had good reason to tell everyone not to hurt her, he'd abide by those wishes. Deciding to get something constructive done, he opened a portal to his warehouse to get some of the latest shipments.

The warehouse itself was one of many that he used to stockpile materials. Anything he either knew was valuable elsewhere or should be, he kept in various boxes. The first box he saw was dated to ship out yesterday - a slight cramp in his schedule due to the kidnapping. Of course, nobody seemed to care and would rather kill Logan first before getting Jack out. Harassed by Riddick later to get his revenge, Geoff tried to move one of the boxes and dropped it within five seconds. Cursing under his breath, he was irritated as things were definitely not going his way.

Still asleep, Geoff was curled up under the covers. Winter was coming and the temperature was dropping. It would be a while before he woke up; the question was whether he'd wake up first or Jack showed up.

The night before, Geoff uncharacteristically left both the gate and door open. He wasted no time getting back to his room, also making sure that he left that first door open. The capsule was about eight feet tall and more than wide enough; he stepped in and took it to right outside his room. Walking inside, he shut the door and crashed on the bed in no time. Before he got to sleep, he idly wondered when Jack would be coming by.

Stealing a moment to himself, Geoff takes a shortrange portal to the gates of his house. Opening the gates, he ripped the mask off, sprawled out by the lake and watched the waves roll in as the wind blew over him. It may not be long, but a few minutes was all he wanted.
